1/20/2006 In lieu of a book, Ellie gave me season one of House to watch last night, and I can't decide how I feel about it. It's pretty funny and I love the guy, but they have this thing going on where they spend the whole episode trying to figure out the problem (while their patient inevitably teeters on the edge of death) before they finally stumble across the correct (and usually very obscure) diagnosis in the nick of time. Which is okay... but not for every episode. I've watched three or four so far, so I don't know, but I can see myself getting irritated soon if it keeps up. On another note, I've been looking at part-time listings on craigslist and I can't seem to figure out anything I actually want to do. Meh. posted 11:30 PM / post
If you are looking for something good to watch and new to get into, then I suggest Smallville. My roomate Lance and his brother Tanner are big fans of the show, especially Tanner, and they've turned me on to the show. They have caught me up with the show so I have been watching the current season but when Chris came home for Christmas he had season 1 and 2 on dvd and I got to watch 8 or 10 episodes into the first and it was great. Just a thought in case your bored. --Trey
